Boat carrying seven fishermen sinks

A fishing boat carrying seven fishermen sank about 100 meters from the Nhat Le estuary on the morning of 4/3, resulting in one fatality.

Shortly after 6:50 h, the nearly 15 meters long fishing boat, owned by Dao Duy Sang, 52, a resident of Ha Duong residential group, Dong Hoi ward, departed the Nhat Le estuary for fishing. The vessel ran aground approximately 100 meters north of the shore. Strong northeast monsoon winds and large waves then struck, causing the boat to sink.
