Bung Mon Road, in Long Thanh commune, has been temporarily open since 29/4 for vehicles with fewer than 9 seats to access the expressway. However, to prevent conflicts with high-speed traffic, Project Management Board 85, an entity under the Ministry of Construction and the investor for component project two, will close this interchange once the entire route opens.

Currently, vehicles traveling from the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh - Dau Giay expressway cannot directly connect to the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway at the Long Thanh interchange. This is due to an incomplete toll booth. Consequently, drivers must exit onto National Route 51 and travel approximately 18 km to the Vo Nguyen Giap interchange to access the expressway.
A leader from the Dong Nai Provincial Investment and Construction Project Management Board stated that the closure of the Bung Mon interchange was planned before the entire route's operation. However, the State Acceptance Council will make the final decision on the morning of 18/5.

Should the Bung Mon interchange close, drivers traveling from Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau will have alternative routes: either via Xa Lo Ha Noi to the Vo Nguyen Giap interchange or by taking Ring Road 3, which connects to the Ben Luc - Long Thanh expressway.
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, nearly 54 km long, has an investment capital of approximately 17.800 billion VND and consists of three component projects. Once complete, the route is expected to ease congestion on National Route 51 and shorten travel time from Ho Chi Minh City to Vung Tau to around 70 minutes.
