Between 6:45 and 8:30, Noi Bai airport reported 9 flights impacted by severe weather. Four outbound flights faced takeoff delays as they awaited suitable operational conditions.

For incoming flights, four were diverted. Two Vietnam Airlines flights and one Pacific Airlines flight landed at Cat Bi airport, while one Turkish Airlines flight was rerouted to Da Nang airport. Another flight circled above Noi Bai, waiting for weather conditions to improve before it could land.

By 8:40, all takeoff and landing operations at Noi Bai had normalized.

Noi Bai International Airport urged passengers to monitor flight schedules displayed on terminal screens and seek the latest updates directly from their airlines.

The northern region of Vietnam routinely experiences dense fog during January and February, which consistently reduces airport visibility and directly affects flight operations.
