Dong Nai to construct 43 km road linking Long Thanh airport

Road 770B, 6-8 lanes wide and costing approximately 4,600 billion VND, will connect Long Thanh airport to industrial zones and key transport routes.

The Investment and Construction Project Management Board of Dong Nai City recently approved the design for the 770B road.

This entirely new 43 km route will traverse the communes and wards of Xuan Bac, Gia Kiem, Xuan Que, Xuan Duong, Long Phuoc, Phuoc Thai, Dau Giay, Binh Loc, and Xuan Lap. It will have a 60-meter right-of-way and feature 6-8 lanes.

In giai doan 1, the project will feature a 45,5-meter-wide roadbed accommodating 6 lanes, with a 27-meter-wide carriageway. Along the route, 13 bridges will be constructed, including an overpass for the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, along with 6 interchanges.

According to the Dong Nai City People's Committee, the road is crucial for connecting the city's eastern and northeastern regions to Long Thanh airport, Xuan Que - Song Nhan Industrial Park, and Bau Can - Tan Hiep Industrial Park. It will also link to the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, national highway 51, and the Cai Mep - Thi Vai port complex.

In early 2025, the project for compensation, support, resettlement, and site clearance for the road was approved, with a total capital exceeding 3,300 billion VND.

In addition to centrally funded projects, Dong Nai is also developing numerous other roads to connect to Long Thanh airport, including routes 25B and 25C, and expanding roads 769 and 773. These initiatives represent a total investment of tens of thousands of billion VND.
