Expected civil servant salary scale from 1/7

If the base salary increases by 8% from 1/7, the highest civil servant salary is projected to be around 20.2 million VND and the lowest nearly 3.8 million VND, excluding allowances.

Deputy Prime Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra recently announced that the Government plans to increase the base salary by 8% from the current 2.34 million VND per month to approximately 2.527 million VND per month.

With this new base salary, civil servant incomes will increase proportionally according to their salary coefficients. Specifically, civil servants in group A3.1, including senior architects, senior researchers, senior engineers, senior standardization officers, senior appraisers, senior doctors, professors - senior lecturers, and senior pharmacists, are expected to receive the highest monthly salary of approximately 20.2 million VND (currently 18.7 million VND).

In the lowest group, type C3 civil servants (medical workers), are projected to have a monthly salary of nearly 3.8 million VND, an increase from the current approximately 3.5 million VND.
