Police general's salary projected to exceed 26 million dong from july 1

If the base salary increases by 8% from its current level on july 1, a police general's monthly salary is expected to rise to 26.2 million dong, while a corporal's will reach 8 million dong, excluding allowances.

The government plans to increase the base salary by 8% starting july 1, raising it from 2.34 million dong per month to 2.527 million dong per month. This increase will correspondingly affect the salaries of cadres, civil servants, public employees, and armed forces personnel.

For the People's Public Security, the base salary increase will elevate a general's monthly salary from 24.3 million dong to 26.2 million dong, marking an increase of nearly 2 million dong from the current rate.

Within the People's Public Security officer ranks, a corporal's salary is also set to increase from nearly 7.5 million dong to 8 million dong per month.

Public security technical specialists are projected to receive a maximum salary of 19.5 million dong and a minimum of nearly 7.5 million dong per month.

Public security workers are expected to earn a maximum salary of 16.8 million dong, with the lowest earners receiving 6.8 million dong per month.
