In the villages of K’ren, K’Long, and Tan An, floodwaters rose rapidly, reaching nearly one meter in some areas. National Highway 20, passing through Dinh An village, was submerged, making it impassable for vehicles. From 8:30 pm to the early morning of 6/9, authorities used canoes and motorboats to reach and evacuate residents from the affected areas.

According to Nguyen Quang Hiep, chairman of the Hiep Thanh Commune People's Committee, about 50 people with 6 canoes were mobilized for the rescue and evacuation efforts. The flooding affected several hundred households in the low-lying areas bordering the old Da Lat city.

By the morning of 6/9, the water had begun to recede, but National Highway 20 remained heavily flooded, causing many motorbikes to stall while attempting to cross. The overnight downpour also caused the collapse of walls in three houses on lane 27, An Binh street, Xuan Huong ward (Da Lat). It also caused subsidence on Thai Lam lane and affected lane 31 on 3 Thang 4 street.

Local authorities are working to address the aftermath and assess the damage.
