The train service facilitates pickups and drop-offs at three stations: Hanoi, Giap Bat, and Phu Ly. Train PL1 departs from Hanoi station at 6:15 AM, makes a stop to pick up passengers at Giap Bat station, and arrives at Phu Ly station at 7:22 AM.
Upon alighting at Phu Ly station, all medical staff will be transported by shuttle bus to Bach Mai hospital campus 2 to begin their shifts. In the reverse direction, train PL2 departs from Phu Ly station at 5:20 PM and arrives back at Hanoi station at 6:30 PM.
A representative from Vietnam Railways Corporation stated that the train does not sell individual tickets; it is exclusively for Bach Mai hospital's medical staff. The train is configured with 9 carriages, and approximately 500 passengers registered to travel on 26/6.

Vietnam Railways Corporation directed its affiliated units to urgently finalize operation plans, review vehicles, and arrange service personnel. Infrastructure management units are swiftly inspecting railway safety corridors and thoroughly reviewing intersections between railways and roads along the Hanoi – Phu Ly route.
Hanoi, Giap Bat, and Phu Ly stations are also completing landscape improvements, environmental sanitation, and arranging designated passenger pick-up/drop-off areas and parking lots for the medical team.
Bach Mai hospital campus 2 in Phu Ly has 325 beds and is expected to become operational from 26/6. The hospital has also fully prepared support plans for staff regarding travel and accommodation, including train and car transportation, and social housing options for those working there.
