Around 12h on 27/5, a bus transporting workers, parked at a lot next to Vu Ha gas station on National Highway 10, suddenly caught fire. Upon discovering the incident, gas station staff and drivers raised an alarm and used on-site firefighting equipment to extinguish the flames. However, the hot weather caused the fire to spread rapidly, with black smoke engulfing the area and extending to a similar bus parked nearby.

According to local authorities, there were no occupants on either bus at the time of the fire. The fire was contained promptly, preventing it from spreading to the gas station area.
By approximately 12h30, the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Department of Hung Yen Provincial Police had fully extinguished the blaze. The two buses were completely destroyed, reduced to skeletal frames.
Local sources indicated that the initial suspected cause was a lighter or a carbonated drink can left inside the vehicle, which may have exploded due to the hot weather and ignited the fire. However, authorities have not yet issued an official conclusion regarding the cause of the incident.
At the time of the fire, the Vu Ha gas station area recorded temperatures of approximately 35 degrees C, with intense sunshine.
