Around 1:50 AM, a group of teenagers was riding motorbikes at high speed, traveling from Le Duan street in Phu Xuan ward towards the North bus station in Huong An ward, Hue City.

Upon reaching Ly Thai To street, a motorbike carrying three people suddenly lost control, hitting the curb. This caused two teenagers to fall onto the road and die instantly, while another sustained severe injuries. At the scene, the victims and the vehicle were found separated by some distance, and the area of the accident contained many broken beer bottle fragments. Ly Thai To street is a section of National Highway 1A that runs through Hue City, featuring a hard median and four lanes.

Following the accident, Hue City Police cordoned off the scene to conduct an examination and investigate the cause. Extracted camera footage revealed the motorbike was traveling at high speed, lost control, and subsequently collided with the curb, leading to the teenagers falling onto the road.
