14,000 VnExpress Marathon Runners Take Over Hai Phong Streets

Thousands of runners in colorful attire filled Hai Phong's central streets as the VnExpress Marathon took place early on 21/12.

The VnExpress Marathon Hai Phong 2025 took place on 21/12, gathering over 14,000 athletes, including 5,000 registered for the 42 km distance. The event set a Vietnamese record with 134 athletes completing the full marathon in under 3 hours. Its straight, flat course and suitable weather for long-distance running contributed to the event's reputation as a "PR paradise."
