Barone stated that Ronaldo's decision to forgo milk stems from his personal view on natural consumption. He believes humans are the only species that drink milk from other animals and continue to do so into adulthood, a practice he considers "unnatural" and not found in nature after infancy.

Beyond eliminating milk, Ronaldo maintains an intense training schedule, which can extend up to four hours daily. He divides his food intake into six protein-rich meals, complementing this with sauna sessions and ice baths for physical recovery. His current body fat percentage is around 7%, notably lower than the typical 8-12% seen in premier league players. His daily menu prioritizes low-fat, nutrient-dense foods such as fresh fish, chicken, avocados, whole grains, green vegetables, and fruits.
Breakfast typically includes avocados, eggs, and unsweetened coffee. For lunch, Ronaldo eats chicken or fish with vegetables. His evening meal is a light portion of meat or fish and vegetables, with minimal refined carbohydrates from flour products like bread or pasta.
Ronaldo also strictly avoids carbonated drinks. At Euro 2020, the Portuguese star famously moved Coca-Cola bottles aside during a press conference, encouraging people to drink water instead.
Barone describes Ronaldo's diet as "balanced yet consistently healthy," emphasizing discipline as key to his sustained performance beyond age 40. Ronaldo has long served as a role model for many colleagues in maintaining a top-tier career. Real Madrid forward Vinicius adopted Ronaldo's scientific eating and relentless training to improve his fitness. Neymar, one of the world's most expensive players, also consulted CR7's methods for weight loss during the 2020 pandemic break.

At 41, Ronaldo maintains remarkable form, having scored 26 goals in 30 club appearances across all competitions, as he targets a double trophy haul this season. Al Nassr leads the Saudi Pro League with 76 points, eight points ahead of Al Hilal, with five matches remaining. The Saudi club has also reached the AFC Champions League Two final, where they will face Gamba Osaka (Japan) on 17/5.
This presents a significant opportunity for Ronaldo to end a title drought that dates back to the Italian Cup with Juventus in 2021. He previously helped Al Nassr win the Arab Club Champions Cup, but that tournament is not considered an official title.
If he remains fit, Ronaldo is expected to represent Portugal at the 2026 World Cup. In the group stage, Portugal will face Congo on 17/6, Uzbekistan on 23/6, and Colombia on 27/6.
