Around 14h today, the national team arrived at Jakarta's airport.
Coach Kim Sang-sik was the first to emerge, wearing his familiar black t-shirt.
Despite an early start for Noi Bai airport and a 4,5-hour flight, the players appeared cheerful. Striker Nguyen Xuan Son smiled and signed autographs, welcomed by a Vietnamese fan family.
Goalkeeper Patrik Le Giang maintained his confident demeanor, always smiling when welcomed.

Likewise, Nguyen Hoang Hen – one of the three Brazilian-born naturalized players, alongside Xuan Son and Nguyen Tai Loc (behind).
Dinh Bac initially wore a hat covering half his face. However, amidst the welcome from media and fans, he quickly became cheerful, interacting comfortably. In yesterday's draw against Singapore, the 22-year-old striker missed many chances and was substituted at the end of the first half.

Tai Loc was the one brought onto the field to replace Dinh Bac. If not for the crossbar's denial, the Brazilian-born naturalized striker could have scored for Vietnam.

Captain Nguyen Quang Hai enthusiastically signed autographs for fans before boarding the bus to the hotel.
Host Indonesia heavily deployed security to ensure the safety of coach Kim's team.
After leaving the airport, the team will travel by bus to Bogor city, 80 km away, to rest. The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) arranged for staff to go to Indonesia to buy food for the players to eat on the bus.
The team will be based at the five-star Harris Hotel & Convention Cibinong City Mall Bogor. Due to continuous travel, the team will rest today and will have only one field familiarization session tomorrow before their match on 3/8.
