Herbalife partners with Gamezone at VnExpress Marathon Can Tho 2026

The Gamezone at VnExpress Marathon Can Tho 2026 features a partnership with Herbalife, offering games inspired by Mekong Delta culture for runners on 8-9/5.

Herbalife, a global nutrition brand focused on health, sports, and active lifestyles, is partnering with VnExpress Marathon Can Tho 2026 to introduce a new Gamezone. This marks the second time the marathon has come to Tay Do (Can Tho City). The Gamezone is designed to offer interactive experiences for runners and their families during race-kit collection.

The Gamezone is located at the event Expo in Hau River Park, Cai Khe ward, where bibs will be distributed on 8-9/5. Challenges draw inspiration from familiar Mekong Delta imagery, such as boats and rice fields, reflecting the daily life and labor of southern Vietnamese people.

Runners can participate in four activities: "dry land boat racing", simulating river paddling; "rice carrying race", evoking images of farmers during harvest; "bridge fruit climb", inspired by traditional folk games; and "orchard fruit picking", recreating the atmosphere of southern Vietnamese fruit gardens.

These activities are designed to be accessible and suitable for various age groups, allowing athletes to engage in light exercise, relax, and check-in while collecting their bibs and race-kits. Participants have the chance to receive gifts, such as shoe bags, useful for preparing and storing items before and after race day.

"Can Tho is a race with a distinct local flavor, from its rivers and rice fields to the orchards of the southern region," a brand representative shared. "By partnering with the Gamezone, Herbalife aims to be present in a welcoming space for runners and their families, while also helping to spread an active, positive spirit before race day."

Partnering with the Gamezone aligns with Herbalife's strategy to promote active lifestyles through community activities. This area also creates an additional touchpoint for the brand to connect with the running community, complementing the usual engagement activities during the two bib collection days leading up to the event.

The VnExpress Marathon Can Tho 2026 will take place on 10/5 at Hau River Park, featuring four distances: 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, and 42 km. Carrying the message "Riding the waves of Tay Do", the race will guide 10,000 athletes through central thoroughfares, riverside areas, and distinct cultural landmarks of the city.

A highlight of the 42 km distance is the section passing through the Cai Rang floating market area around kilometer 34, just as the market begins to bustle. This offers a unique race experience, allowing athletes to conquer the marathon challenge while experiencing the vibrant early morning river life of the Mekong Delta.
