Jiangsu wins women's volleyball championship in Vietnam

Jiangsu Club (China) demonstrated superior strength, defeating Binh Dien Long An 3-0 in the final of the VTV9 - Binh Dien International Women's Volleyball Tournament 2026.

On the evening of 23/5, at the Tay Ninh Provincial Gymnasium, Binh Dien Long An met Jiangsu again in the final of the VTV9 - Binh Dien International Women's Volleyball Tournament 2026.

Previously, in the group stage, Thanh Thuy and her teammates lost 1-3 to Jiangsu.

This was a convincing championship for the Chinese representative, who remained undefeated throughout the tournament, losing only two sets.

Although they could not claim the championship, the host team can be satisfied with their runner-up position. In the group stage, they nearly faced elimination but fought their way to the final match.

Ha Noi Tasco Auto finished third after defeating LPBank Ninh Binh 3-1 in the bronze medal match.

Tran Thi Thanh Thuy, an opposite hitter, was named the most comprehensive player of the tournament for her outstanding performance in leading her team to the final.

The tournament also honored several individual players with awards:

["Thanh Thuy and Vi Thi Nhu Quynh received the best attacker awards.","Two Jiangsu players received the best opposite hitter awards.","Khanh Dang (Ha Noi) was named the best libero.","Pham Quynh Huong (Binh Chung Thong Tin) received the most promising young player award.","Other awards."]

Baek Chae Rim of Suwon, South Korea, was awarded the Miss Tournament title.
