In Vietnam, the game will be published through NCV Games, a joint venture between NC and VNGGames. This move comes nearly one year after the company introduced Lineage2M to the Southeast Asian market.

Lineage W features classic isometric gameplay, a style familiar from many popular role-playing games. The game centers on a "blood pledge" system, emphasizing organization, alliances, and faction-based combat.

According to the publisher, Lineage W is designed to offer a distinct experience from Lineage2M, aiming to avoid direct competition within the same Lineage ecosystem. This strategy allows NC to sustain multiple products under the same brand in the market over an extended period.

The Southeast Asian version of Lineage W includes specific adjustments to better suit players in the region. This means the game is not merely a re-release of the global version.

Currently, NCV Games has only shared initial details via its Facebook fanpage, Discord, and YouTube channels. The pre-registration period and official launch date have not yet been announced.
