A section of the road leads towards Cua Lo beach, with Song Ngu island visible in the distance. Only 42km runners will reach this part of the route, after departing the Vinh – Cua Lo boulevard around the 16 km mark to join Binh Minh road.

Cua Lo beach connects to the coastal road. 42km runners, starting at 3 am, will pass this section between 5-6 am, coinciding with the sunrise over the sea.
