Nghe An's largest boulevard on the VnExpress marathon route

The Vinh – Cua Lo boulevard, 10,8 km long with a 32 m wide, nearly flat surface, is a highlight of the VnExpress marathon grand tour Nghe An 2026 route on 27/9.

An aerial view of the Vinh – Cua Lo boulevard. This 10,8 km long route begins at Le Nin boulevard and ends at Binh Minh road in Cua Lo ward. The road is 32 m wide, featuring eight vehicle lanes, with 16 m on each side. It stands as Nghe An's largest road.

A roundabout on the boulevard. The road features a green median, high-pressure streetlights, and wide sidewalks. These elements allow organizers to strategically place water and medical stations without narrowing the running path for participants.

A flycam view along the boulevard. Both 42km and 21km runners will compete on this route. For those aiming for personal bests, the flat and straight road conditions are a rare advantage in domestic races.

A section of the road leads towards Cua Lo beach, with Song Ngu island visible in the distance. Only 42km runners will reach this part of the route, after departing the Vinh – Cua Lo boulevard around the 16 km mark to join Binh Minh road.

The transition point between the boulevard and Cua Lo beach. The Grand Tour model prioritizes destination exploration, so the 42km route is designed to go from the city center to the beach, rather than looping within the city.

Cua Lo beach connects to the coastal road. 42km runners, starting at 3 am, will pass this section between 5-6 am, coinciding with the sunrise over the sea.
