Among nearly 100 players participating in the VTV9 - Binh Dien 2026 international women's volleyball tournament, which recently concluded in Tay Ninh, Baek Chae Rim of Suwon (South Korea) was one of the most prominent faces.

She is the captain of Suwon City, possessing a cinematic appearance with a height of 1,74 m. Beyond her looks, the outside hitter, born in 1998, also serves as Suwon City's spiritual leader, known for her energetic play and fiery competitive spirit.

Before playing indoor volleyball, Baek Chae Rim began her career in beach volleyball. This background contributes to her agile movement, quick reflexes, and comprehensive defensive skills.

Baek Chae Rim weighs 62 kg, has a jump height of 2,8 m, and a block reach of 2,75 m.

With her talent and beauty, Baek Chae Rim won the volleyball queen award, securing the majority of votes from experts, fans, and media.

The 28-year-old beauty's everyday style. During the recent tournament, she and her teammates visited the Ba Den Mountain historical site in Tay Ninh and were impressed by the scenery.

Baek Chae Rim's close friend, Lee Ye Dam, also received the award for the best-dressed foreign player in an ao ba ba (a traditional southern Vietnamese tunic). Lee Ye Dam is 23 years old, stands 1,86 m tall, has a jump height of 2,82 m, and a block reach of 2,78 m. The ao ba ba is a traditional garment characteristic of people in the Southern region, especially the Mekong Delta. It is typically worn with long trousers and paired with common accessories like checkered scarves and conical hats. While many volleyball tournaments usually feature an ao dai (another traditional Vietnamese dress) side award, this year the organizing committee opted for the ao ba ba to highlight Southern traditional style.

Both South Korean beauties were impressed by Vietnam's scenery and the friendly nature of its fans. They expressed a desire to return and compete again in Vietnam.

The 15th VTV9 - Binh Dien international volleyball tournament took place from 15/5 to 23/5. Leading Vietnamese women's volleyball teams participated, including hosts Binh Dien Long An, Binh Chung Thong tin, VietinBank, LPBank Ninh Binh, and Ha Noi Tasco Auto. The three foreign teams, all top Asian contenders, were Giang Su (China), Suwon City (South Korea), and Gunma Green Wings (Japan).
