The finisher shirts for athletes completing the 21 km and 42 km distances complete the event's identity, following the medals and race shirts that capture the river region's beauty. These two shirts use modern design to recreate the hues of sunrise and sunset – the two most vibrant moments of the day in Can Tho.

The 21 km finisher shirt features a dominant purple hue, inspired by the Mekong Delta's sunset. Against a deep purple background, soft, flowing streaks of bright pink and yellow curve like water ripples, evoking dusk settling over Ninh Kieu wharf as the day's last light bathes the river.

The event logo and "Can Tho 2026" text are on the left chest, following the familiar design of the VnExpress Marathon system. The back features large vertical typography, enhancing race distance visibility.

With a similar design, the 42 km finisher shirt uses a blue palette combined with orange and yellow, inspired by the Mekong Delta sunrise. Bright streaks across the shirt evoke early morning sunlight piercing through mist, recreating the atmosphere as boats head to the floating market and river life awakens.

Placed side by side, the two shirt designs create a clear contrast in color and emotion. While the 21 km design suggests tranquility, the 42 km design emphasizes light intensity and movement. This allows the finisher shirts to maintain design consistency while distinguishing each distance.

"Together with the race shirts and medals, the finisher shirts complete the VnExpress Marathon Can Tho 2026 merchandise set with a continuous visual story of the Mekong Delta river region. Through this design, we hope runners will remember the river and the Mekong Delta sky at its most beautiful time," stated an organizing committee representative.

Velosar, a strategic partner of the VnExpress Marathon system for 2026-2027, produces the shirts. Each product is ultralight (approximately 95-100g), using Poly Mesh 110 GSM material with a mesh structure that supports rapid sweat wicking, minimizing stickiness during high-intensity activity.

The VnExpress Marathon Can Tho first took place in 2025, attracting over 9,000 runners and becoming a major sports event in the southwestern Mekong Delta. Returning this season with new aspects in timing, route, and race experience, the event expects to continue appealing to the running community while promoting a dynamic yet peaceful Can Tho.
