VnExpress Marathon Da Nang 2026 awards over 1,3 billion VND in prizes

The total value of cash and in-kind prizes for outstanding individuals at the race on 19/7 reaches over 1,3 billion VND across four distances.

The 42km distance offers the highest prize value. The overall champion receives 24,4 million VND, including 15 million VND in cash, PUMA Deviate NITRO Elite 4 shoes, and a product set from Zoseo, Duoc Dong A, and Herbalife. The second-place finisher receives 21,4 million VND, comprising 12 million VND in cash and in-kind gifts. The third-place finisher receives 18,4 million VND with 9 million VND in cash.

The 4th and 5th place athletes in the 42km distance receive 16,9 million VND (7,5 million VND in cash) and 15,4 million VND (6 million VND in cash) respectively.

Similar to other races in the series, VnExpress Marathon Da Nang 2026 also features age group awards for five categories: 30 years old and under, 31-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60 and over. Each group honors the five best-performing individuals.

The first-place winners in age groups receive 14 million VND, including 5 million VND in cash, PUMA Velocity NITRO 4 shoes, and a product set from partners. Second-place winners receive 13 million VND (4 million VND in cash), and third-place winners receive 12 million VND (3 million VND in cash), along with shoes and product sets. For the two oldest groups (50-59 and 60 and over), 4th and 5th place finishers receive only in-kind prizes valued at 9 million VND, with no cash component.

In the 21km distance, overall awards are given to the three leading runners. The first-place winner receives 17,4 million VND, including 8 million VND in cash, PUMA Deviate NITRO Elite 4 shoes, and a product set from partners. The next two positions receive 15,9 million VND and 14,4 million VND respectively. This distance also includes age group awards for five categories, with prizes ranging from 11 million to 13 million VND.

The 10km and 5km distances award the three top performers, without age group categories. The first-place finisher in the 10km race receives 12,4 million VND, including 3 million VND in cash, PUMA Deviate NITRO Elite 4 shoes, and a product set from partners. Second and third place receive 11,9 million VND and 11,4 million VND respectively. For the 5km distance, the top three positions receive 11,9 million VND, 11,4 million VND, and 10,9 million VND respectively.

This year, Da Nang's largest summer marathon, officially named VnExpress Da Nang International Marathon Herbalife Cup 2026, is holding its third season, reflecting aspirations for international reach. Combined with the Kun Marathon on 18/7, this is Da Nang's largest summer sports event, integrating a series of festivals to transform the central coastal city into a leading attractive destination in Asia.
