VNGGames was also announced as the publisher for Ananta in Vietnam. The game will be available on PC via VNGGames' Level Up platform and on mobile devices.
To mark the release date announcement, the developer unveiled a new story trailer, revealing Chongxiao for the first time. Chongxiao is the second largest city in the world of Ananta, built with many Chinese cultural elements, further expanding the game's diverse urban setting.
Ananta revolves around the message "Go Viral. Save the World", where players take on the role of an influencer.
Set in a world where social media, algorithms, and digital influence directly impact urban life, players will explore the world through the eyes of a content creator. Each quest, encounter, or event can help the character increase reputation, access resources, and unlock new privileges. According to the publisher's representative, this offers a fresh approach compared to previous urban open-world games.
The game world features interconnected stories and characters. Players can freely explore the city, interact with NPCs, build relationships, and create various situations during gameplay.
A highlight of Ananta is its system of over 100 NPCs, each with unique stories and quests. Players can befriend, build relationships, recruit allies, and form their own "revenge squad".
Inspired by real-world cities like Shanghai, Hangzhou, and Tokyo, Ananta creates cities with distinct identities and activities. Players can not only undertake quests but also participate in many daily activities such as watching movies, playing games, visiting cat cafes, exercising, dining, shopping, or relaxing at outdoor hot springs.
The philosophy of "go where you can see" is reflected through a diverse transportation system. Depending on the location and purpose, players can use cars, motorcycles, helicopters, yachts, subways, gliders, and many other vehicles to explore the city.
The game also allows players to experience various identities, from NCCA staff and hackers to delivery personnel and content creators. Each role opens up unique ways to interact with and explore the world.
Beyond exploration, Ananta features a combat system that blends martial arts with the surrounding environment. Players can switch control between characters in the A.C.D. team, utilize each character's unique skills, and incorporate everyday objects as part of battles.
Each character possesses a distinct story, perspective, and combat style, allowing players to build a team and choose an approach suitable for each situation.
The combination of open-world elements, character systems, combat, and urban activities ensures Ananta offers an experience where players are not limited to a single playstyle. From exploring the city and building relationships with NPCs to engaging in combat and developing reputation, each choice can open up a different path of experience.
According to the publisher's representative, upon release, this game will join the ranks of multi-platform open-world games and is expected to make a mark in the international game market.
