The "Most Loved Athlete and Coach of 2025" voting program marks the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's Sports Industry. This event is organized by the Sports Authority of Vietnam in partnership with FPT Online.

The official website features the list of nominees, including athletes, coaches, and teams, along with their professional achievements. To vote, readers must log in using their My VnE ID account and select their preferred nominees. Each category allows for a maximum of 5 selections.

"Each vote represents public recognition for the efforts, contributions, and influence of athletes and coaches. The program aims to honor achievements while promoting true sportsmanship and a positive image," an organizing committee representative said.

The voting process encompasses 5 categories. The organizing committee will select winners based on the highest number of valid votes in each: Most Loved Outstanding Athlete (5 nominees), Most Loved Outstanding Team (5), Most Loved Coach (3), Most Loved Para Athlete (3), and Most Loved Para Coach (3).

Nominees include athletes in individual events, team athletes (three or more members), and national sports teams (in collective sports) who have achieved outstanding results in official domestic and international competitions. The selection criteria prioritize yearly professional performance, ethical conduct, compliance with laws and competition regulations, a healthy lifestyle, fair play, and the capacity to serve as a community role model.

For the coach category, the organizing committee prioritizes individuals who directly coached athletes and sports teams to outstanding achievements in official national and international competitions. For para-sports, the selection criteria also focus on achievements recognized by sports authorities, alongside their public image, spirit, and positive societal impact.

Following the voting round, which runs from 23/1/2025 to 6/3/2025, the organizing committee will compile the results for each category and publish them on the website and through media outlets. The award ceremony is slated for 3/2026.

The Information - Communication Center for Sports, under the Sports Authority of Vietnam, in collaboration with FPT Online Services Joint Stock Company (FPT Online), organizes this program. It is part of the celebration for the 80th anniversary of Vietnam's Sports Industry.
