By the end of 2025, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) recorded a consolidated undistributed accumulated profit of 5,533 billion VND, reversing from a negative 38,688 billion VND at the end of 2024.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has proposed a mechanism to gradually integrate previously uncalculated costs into electricity tariffs, aiming to address EVN's accumulated losses of nearly 45 trillion VND.
