A 5-year-old boy has died after more than half a month of treatment at Children's Hospital of Ho Chi Minh City due to severe burns covering over 90% of his body in a fire suspected to be arson by his father.

A 6-month-old baby boy in Bich Hao commune, Nghe An, died after a section of ceiling plaster unexpectedly detached and fell onto his bed while he was sleeping.

Two 10th-grade students slipped and fell into deep water and died while fishing at a stream on a farm in Huong Pho commune.
