Around 7:00 AM on 12/9, relatives discovered a 38-year-old woman and a 42-year-old man dead in a bedroom at a house in Dau Lo hamlet, Hiep Thanh ward, Ca Mau province. Initial examination revealed the woman had a wound on her left chest, while the man was found hanged. There was no sign of forced entry or missing property.

A Hiep Thanh ward official stated that both individuals were divorced and had been in a romantic relationship, frequently visiting each other over the past few months.

According to the official, the previous afternoon, the man had visited the woman's home. She was out attending a funeral, so he remained at the house to wait for her. The incident came to light the following morning when a younger sibling returned from a local shrimp farm and found them.

Ca Mau Provincial Police have since examined the scene and collected evidence as part of an investigation into the cause of death.
