Nguyen Tien Hai, a Party Central Committee member and acting minister of home affairs, has been approved by the National Assembly to serve as minister of home affairs for the 2026-2031 term.

Nguyen Tien Hai, a member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the An Giang Provincial Party Committee, has been assigned by the Prime Minister to serve as acting minister of home affairs, replacing Do Thanh Binh who was transferred to another position.
