The Ministry of Construction has proposed to the government a plan to expand 18 sections of the North-South expressway with a total investment of over 152,000 billion VND, using the public-private partnership (PPP) model.
The Ministry of Construction has approved a plan to collect tolls on 18 sections of the north-south expressway, funded by the state. The toll collection, estimated at 900-1,300 VND/km, is expected to start in 2026.
Three expressway sections, Vung Ang - Bung, Van Ninh - Cam Lo, and Hoa Lien - Tuy Loan, will open on 19/8, creating a continuous 750 km North-South expressway from Hanoi to Da Nang.
