A new draft decree proposes streamlining the national defense inspectorate to two levels to reduce bureaucracy and increase the effectiveness of supervision, and prevention of corruption and waste.

The Ministry of National Defense has invited five countries, including Russia, China, Laos, Cambodia, and Belarus, to participate in a military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of National Day on 2/9.

Military personnel, police officers, and permanent militia members who have paid social insurance for at least 15 years are eligible for retirement at age 57, up to 5 years earlier than the general regulation.
