Disconnecting retreat in northern Phu Quoc island

Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort introduces a retreat model helping guests rejuvenate through nature experiences and wholesome cuisine.

The journey at the resort begins with outdoor physical activities in the early morning. On its secluded private beach, the resort offers morning yoga classes for guests. Practicing in the fresh sea air helps improve respiratory health and reduces stress after a period of urban work. This serves as an initial step for guests to acclimatize to a slower pace of life, disconnecting from digital notifications and daily work pressure.

A highlight of the ecological retreat model here is the Sheraton Garden. The staff operates the garden on a circular model, using homemade organic fertilizer from on-site organic waste to enrich the coastal sandy soil. Here, guests directly participate in agricultural activities like harvesting passion fruit and juicy cucumbers. Additionally, the Sheraton Bee Farm allows guests to learn about beekeeping and taste pure honey directly from the comb. These activities help guests reconnect with nature through practical sustainable agriculture experiences.

Nutrition is also emphasized to ensure health throughout the stay. The in-house restaurant system offers specialized menus for body detoxification. At the Daily Social restaurant, the Poke Bowl area allows diners to customize their meals with green vegetables, nutritious seeds, grains, and clean protein. The service here integrates modern amenities such as an automatic orange juicer and a traditional drink bar that changes daily, helping guests maintain healthy eating habits even while traveling.

Lunch and dinner are diversified with international menus featuring rich herbal ingredients. The Wok & Curry restaurant serves Indian, Korean, and Halal dishes prepared by local chefs to ensure authentic flavors and nutritional balance. Meanwhile, Il Tramonto restaurant focuses on Italian cuisine with handmade pasta, combined with a sunset view over the northern island sea. Focusing on fresh ingredients and handmade preparation limits harmful additives, aligning with the standards of a wellness retreat.

Regarding accommodation, the resort offers 459 spacious rooms and villas, prioritizing guest privacy. All room categories feature sea-facing balconies, maximizing natural light and sea breeze. This design allows guests to engage in personal activities like reading, enjoying tea, or simply observing the sea view in a quiet space. The spatial seclusion helps maintain a relaxed state, preventing external noise from affecting rest.

A representative from Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort stated that investing in exercise activities, ecological garden experiences, and wholesome cuisine creates a holistic wellness process. After their trip, guests not only recover physically but also significantly improve mentally, ready to return to work. "This is a modern approach to tourism, where the value of a trip is measured by a positive change in health and spirit", the representative said.

Sheraton Phu Quoc Long Beach Resort is located in Bai Dai, Ganh Dau, Phu Quoc. The property began operations in 11/2015 under the name Vinpearl Resort & Golf Phu Quoc. In 9/2022, the resort rebranded and transferred management to international group Marriott International under the renowned Sheraton brand.
