Everlasting flowers, also known as strawflowers, are herbaceous perennials belonging to the daisy family. They prefer cool climates, originate from Oceania, and were brought to Vietnam, where they are widely planted in Da Lat. Recently, they were introduced to the North, planted in Sa Pa and Moc Chau, which have similar climates.

Everlasting flowers typically boast vibrant colors, including yellow, red, orange, pink, purple, and white. While they naturally fade, their distinguishing feature is the ability to retain their shape and color. These blooms are often picked without stems and preserved as whole flowers for souvenirs.

According to Kien, the best times for photography at the flower hill are 8-10h or 15-17h, when it is sunny. The flower garden is in its initial blooming phase, expected to be beautiful until the end of April. After the peak Tet holiday, hotels and homestays in Moc Chau are less fully booked. Visitors can take advantage of this time to visit and avoid crowds.
