The festival, organized by Hoi An Memories Island, will run from february 17 to april 30. Throughout the event, modern light technology and art performances will introduce Hoi An's heritage and traditional craft villages to both domestic and international visitors.
Attendees can enjoy a large-scale lantern art performance titled "Chau An Thuyen - Heritage Painting", which recreates the prosperous 17th-century trading port of Faifo. Lantern installations, combined with drone shows, will create a unique artistic ambiance at night, promoting local cultural values.

On the opening night, march 4, thousands of drones will combine with lantern systems to create a grand light spectacle over Hoi An's sky. Images of dragons and phoenixes, symbols of prosperity in East Asian culture, will also appear in the performance, adding a technological highlight to the festival's 2026 spring activities.
Ms. Than Thi Thu Huyen, CEO of Hoi An Memories Island, stated that using modern technology to create light displays at the festival offers a new approach to introduce Hoi An's heritage to visitors. This initiative also aims to expand night tourism, a key sustainable development strategy for the ancient town in recent years.

The festival's schedule is extended, running from february 17 (the first day of Lunar New Year) until the april 30 holiday. It begins with the Heritage Tet, from february 17 to march 1, recreating a traditional Tet atmosphere with a lucky money festival and unique Tet experiences from Vietnam's three regions. The highlight of the series of activities will be the opening night and drone performance on march 4.
In march and early april, visitors can participate in silk week and pottery week, which celebrate Quang Nam's traditional craft villages. For example, the silk weaving and Thanh Ha pottery crafts will be promoted through art activities and experiential workshops. The series of events will conclude on april 30 with a sky lantern and flower lantern release ceremony, symbolizing wishes for peace.
