The Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports and the People's Committee of Hanoi are providing continuous updates on the official website for the National Day events.
The "Peaceful Day" program, organized by the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Hanoi People's Committee, will run from 4 p.m. on August 16 to 7 p.m. on August 19. Held in the pedestrian area around Hoan Kiem Lake, including Dinh Tien Hoang, Le Thai To, and Hang Khay streets, the program honors previous generations and strengthens the bond between the police force and Hanoi residents. Activities include a flower offering ceremony at the Ly Thai To monument, interactive experiences like "Being a fire policeman," "Police handling emergencies," "Solving problems related to people's lives," and "Experiencing the population gate" on Dinh Tien Hoang Street near Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square.
The live television program "Golden Opportunity" will air at 8 p.m. on August 22 from the Hanoi Flag Tower on Dien Bien Phu Street in Ba Dinh ward. Approximately 3,000 people are expected to participate in this event, co-organized by the Central Propaganda and Education Commission and Vietnam Television. The program will broadcast from three locations: Hue, Ho Chi Minh City, and Hanoi.

The "8Wonder Summer 2025: Moments of Wonder" music festival will take place at 5:45 p.m. on August 23 at the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center in Dong Anh district. This National Day celebration will feature international stars like DJ Snake, J Balvin, DPR IAN, The Kid Laroi, and Vietnamese artists Soobin and Hoa Minzy. The concert is a musical journey evoking national pride and marking a new step in the global reach of Vietnamese culture and art. Tickets are available in three categories: Independence, Freedom, and Happiness.
The "That's Vietnam" race will start at 1:45 a.m. on August 24, with the route spanning the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center and the Vinhomes Co Loa urban area. This national event, part of the inauguration of the Vietnam Exhibition Fair Center, commemorates the 80th anniversary of National Day. Around 20,000 participants are expected to compete in 42 km, 21 km, 9.2 km, and 2.9 km races. The event aims to set a Vietnamese record for the largest number of participants wearing the national flag.
