Ashleigh Berry, a flight service manager and star of the television show Love Is Blind, has revealed several in-flight perks that economy class passengers often miss. Berry is employed by the British airline Virgin Atlantic.
According to Berry, aircraft contain secret areas that many passengers are unaware of. "But those are the places where many things for our guests are stored", she said.

Flight attendants often stock complimentary snack baskets in the galley, filled with items ranging from Oreo cookies and chocolate to bags of potato chips. For premium economy passengers, airlines serve more luxurious treats, such as premium potato chips, gummies, eye masks, and spare socks. The flight attendant noted that few passengers know about this hidden snack stash, even if their ticket mentions it. However, complimentary food is typically not part of the policy for budget airlines.
British travel writer Amy Jones shared her own experience of stumbling upon a "treasure trove of free snacks" while heading to the lavatory in economy class. After inquiring about the snack basket with a flight attendant, she was permitted to "help herself" to Cadbury chocolate, crackers, shortbread biscuits, and even complimentary orange and apple juice.

The next complimentary "treasure" available to economy passengers is a secret drawer located beneath the sink in the aircraft lavatory. This box contains sanitary pads and other personal hygiene products for passengers in need. Berry often receives requests for sanitary pads from passengers and always directs them to where these items are stored.
