The Dien Gio Hoa Binh 1 Tourist Area, located about 70 km from TP Ca Mau, has opened its doors to welcome visitors to its renewable energy project, which combines eco-tourism. A highlight of the journey is the 17 km long bridge system, one of the largest tourist bridges in the Dong Bang Song Cuu Long.
Visitors depart from the mainland, traveling along a bougainvillea-lined road before entering the bridge. The sea stretches on both sides, with distant mangrove forests. Ahead, dozens of wind turbine pillars, hundreds of meters tall, line the bridge.
"This is my first time seeing wind turbines up close. Just a few minutes from the mainland, I could reach this immense space in the middle of the sea; it feels wonderful," said Nguyen Hang Ni, a visitor from TP HCM.

The bridge sections consistently attract many tourists and anglers eager to fish in the sea.
According to the investor's representative, the furthest turbine pillar is about 12 km from the shore. During the journey, electric cars stop at various points for guides to explain the construction process, turbine operating technology, and the role of clean energy in reducing emissions.
This project is part of a complex of three wind power areas: Hoa Binh 1, Hoa Binh 1 - Giai doan 2, and Hoa Binh 2, all of which began commercial operation in 2021.
Hoang Van Cuong, a representative for the wind power projects, stated that sunrise and sunset are the two best times for visitors to take photos. The sunlight reflecting on the sea, highlighted by the giant steel structures, creates a "distinct and captivating" scene.

To reach the tourist area from the old center of TP Ca Mau, visitors should take Quoc lo 1 north, then turn onto the coastal road to the wind farm. The journey takes about 1,5 h by car or moto. If departing from the old center of TP Bac Lieu, the distance is approximately 20 km.
Beyond visiting the wind turbines, visitors can fish directly from the offshore turbines or stop to enjoy the sea views. After the bridge journey, visitors can experience a trip through the mangrove forest, exploring its ecosystem.
Visitors can participate in activities such as clam digging, crab catching, and snail gathering on the mudflats, kayaking into the mangrove forest, cycling, or enjoying seafood dishes at the eco-restaurant and sea-view cafe.

According to the tourist area's representative, accommodation facilities including villas, bungalows by the sea and mangrove forest, swimming pools, play areas, and outdoor event spaces are being completed. Additional activities like boating, forest planting, exploring local culture, and survival skills are also being developed.
On average, the tourist area welcomes about 60,000 visitors annually. In Q1 of this year, visitor numbers increased by 15-20% compared to the same period last year.
More than just a clean energy producer, this destination is expected to become a flagship green tourism product for Ca Mau, offering visitors the chance to experience the sea, mangrove forests, and offshore renewable energy projects simultaneously.

After merging with Bac Lieu, Ca Mau boasts a coastline of about 310 km, along with extensive mangrove forest ecosystems, mudflats, and estuary regions. These natural conditions provide advantages for eco-tourism development and create opportunities for renewable energy projects, especially coastal wind power.
