On sunny days, 3 PM to 6 PM is the ideal time for SUP paddling. On 1/9, the Tri An lake area was cool with light rain, prompting tourists to start their SUP activities early.

Located about 70 km from TP HCM, Tri An lake has long been a popular picnic destination, especially on weekends and holidays. Young people often refer to it as a "healing" place due to its refreshing atmosphere.

In the shallow area, children played by inflatable boats.

This year, during the 2/9 holiday, Tri An lake's water levels remained low, leaving the sandbanks near Ma Da forest unsubmerged. This unique landscape offered a picturesque setting for visitors to enjoy SUP paddling and sightseeing.

In addition to SUP paddling, picnic guests also cast nets and grilled their fresh catch.

According to local camping site owners, visitor numbers have seen a significant decrease this year. This decline is attributed to frequent rain and the opening of several new expressways, which provide travelers with more diverse leisure options.

Specialized canoes are prepared in many areas to provide rescue services.

Despite a reduction in the number of camping facilities in Tri An ward compared to previous years, most spots near the center were fully booked. Prices for a two-person tent ranged from 800,000 to 1,500,000 dong.

At a camping site near the edge of Ma Da forest, fewer visitors engaged in SUP paddling, yet the area offered scenic beauty and tranquility.

Tri An lake and Ma Da forest are integral parts of the Dong Nai Nature and Culture Reserve, spanning over 100,000 hectares. The forest covers more than 68,000 hectares, with the remaining area being the lake's surface. In 2011, UNESCO recognized this reserve as a World Biosphere Reserve. Dong Nai province aims to develop this region into a future hub for eco-tourism, resorts, sports, cultural-historical activities, and community engagement.
