The Telegraph, a respected British newspaper known for in-depth analysis of politics, economics, culture, and tourism, described Hanoi as an ideal destination for culture enthusiasts. The city showcases a blend of tradition and modernity, evident in its East-meets-West architecture. Ho Chi Minh City was portrayed as a vibrant metropolis with the distinctive sounds of motorbikes, ancient architecture alongside skyscrapers and modern shopping malls.
Cape Town, South Africa, topped the list, marking its seventh time in the number one spot in the past 10 years. This destination is renowned for its stunning beaches along the Atlantic coast and famous wine regions like Stellenbosch and Franschhoek.

Three Asian destinations made it into the top 10: Tokyo and Kyoto (Japan), and Singapore. Other Southeast Asian cities on the list include Chiang Mai (Thailand, 18th), Bangkok (Thailand, 40th), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia, 68th), and Phnom Penh (Cambodia, 83rd). Tuan Anh (The Telegraph) |
