The announcement was made by the Vietnamese airline at the Vietnam - Singapore Technology Connection Forum 2026 on 31/5, witnessed by General Secretary and President To Lam, alongside high-ranking leaders from Vietnam and Singapore.

This new route aims to offer more travel choices for residents and tourists, helping to promote Nha Trang to the international market. The coastal city in Khanh Hoa province is a prominent resort destination in Vietnam, boasting extensive beaches, developed tourism services, and accommodation facilities.
Dinh Viet Phuong, Vice President of Vietjet, stated that the airline continues to expand its network to enhance connections between Vietnam's high-potential localities and major economic centers in the region.
"Direct flights between Vietnam's high-potential localities and leading Asian economic centers like Singapore are contributing to the formation of new growth corridors for tourism, trade, investment, and international connectivity", he said.
Singapore is one of the international markets Vietjet has operated in since its early days. The airline launched its first route between Singapore and Vietnam in 2014. To date, Vietjet has transported over 3,8 million passengers on more than 22,000 flights between the two countries.

The airline currently operates direct flights connecting Singapore with Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc, totaling over 100 flights each week. The addition of the Nha Trang - Singapore route is expected to further enhance tourism, trade, and investment connections between Vietnam and the island nation. Previously, in 3/2025, in Singapore, General Secretary and President To Lam also attended the event announcing Vietjet's route connecting Singapore with Phu Quoc.
The expanding international flight network is part of Vietjet's strategy to provide Vietnam's tourist destinations deeper access to international markets, while facilitating trade and economic cooperation in the region.
