A 16-year-old girl was standing outside a fast-food restaurant with two friends when a robot, about 1,2 meters tall, approached her, touched her buttocks, and made a hip-thrusting motion. The incident occurred near midnight on 11/10 in Cologne, western Germany.

Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, where they found the two teenagers on a street corner and discovered the robot in a car trunk. Authorities confiscated the robot and the two individuals' mobile phones. The 16-year-old robot owner and his 19-year-old male friend had recorded the robot's actions and livestreamed them on social media.

In a photo released by Cologne police, the robot lay on the ground, wearing a white tank top, a gold chain, sunglasses, and even a fake beard. According to police, social media videos show the two teenagers following the robot as it approached several women on the street and made sexually suggestive gestures. One of the teenagers pretended to intervene and pull the robot back after it made an indecent gesture, prompting laughter from onlookers.

Cologne police spokesperson Christoph Bermel stated that the two individuals have not yet been charged but are considered suspects. Investigators are examining whether the robot's movements were pre-programmed or controlled in real-time. "We have never encountered a case like this before," Bermel said, acknowledging it as "an entirely new field for us."
