Dominik Mies, head of the Frankfurt Public Prosecutor's Office in Germany, announced that Mohammad S., 24, has been indicted for dangerous driving and disregard for human life, resulting in serious consequences.
The indictment specifies that in the early hours of 6/7/2025, after consuming stimulants, Mohammad S. was speeding in Frankfurt. This led to an accident that killed 23-year-old twin brothers Nguyen Duy Quang and Nguyen Quang Minh. Another Vietnamese individual, Hoang Trung Hieu, 27, sustained severe injuries.
Following the collision, Mohammad S. fled the scene without stopping, dragging the victims a significant distance. He then removed his car's license plates to conceal evidence. Mohammad S. surrendered to authorities a few hours later.

German media reported at the time that Mohammad had been using nitrous oxide while driving. His car swerved into a bicycle lane, striking three Vietnamese individuals riding electric scooters.
The accident deeply shocked the German public due to the driver's reckless actions. The deceased brothers were international students pursuing dental assistant training in Hamburg. Their clinic organized a fundraiser, collecting hundreds of thousands of USD to cover the costs of repatriating Quang and Minh's remains and arranging their funerals in Vietnam.
Hieu suffered permanent injuries. Extensive fundraising campaigns also collected over 242,000 USD to support Hieu's medical treatment and rehabilitation.
