Various countries and international organizations delivered this financial aid, essential supplies, and expressions of solidarity to Vietnam. This support came after local areas endured historical rains and consecutive natural disasters, which resulted in severe damage to lives and property.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Pham Thu Hang announced at a press conference on 27/11 that Vietnamese authorities would directly distribute these resources to the affected areas and people.

Data updated on 23/11 indicates that floods in the central-southern region led to 90 fatalities, damaged 1,154 homes, and caused initial economic losses estimated at 9,035 billion VND.
