Iran's Guard threatens to 'hunt down' Israeli prime minister

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced it would "relentlessly pursue" the Israeli prime minister while escalating attacks on US bases in the Middle East.

Iran's Fars news agency reported on 15/3 that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had "not appeared publicly for several days," suggesting his messages on X were AI-generated.

Earlier, rumors circulated on social media claiming Prime Minister Netanyahu had died in an Iranian retaliatory strike against Israel. The Israeli Prime Minister's Office issued a denial, confirming Netanyahu "is fine."

The IRGC claimed Netanyahu's fate remained unclear, hypothesizing he "either died or fled with his family amid the crisis," but provided no evidence.

"As long as Netanyahu is alive, we will relentlessly hunt him down and take his life," the IRGC declared.

The most recent image of Netanyahu was a video commenting on the war situation, posted on the Israeli government's portal on 12/3. He has not appeared in the media since then.

On the same day, the IRGC announced a new wave of attacks, launching missiles and drones at at least three US military bases in the Middle East. The IRGC asserted that Al-Harir airbase in Erbil, Iraqi Kurdistan, along with two military facilities, Ali Al Salem and Arifjan in Kuwait, were hit.

Tehran stated the attacks were part of the 52nd wave of retaliation in an operation named "True Promise 4," conducted in response to the deaths of workers in Iranian industrial zones during US and Israeli airstrikes.

Iran also claimed its heavy missile attacks caused damage to industrial areas in Tel Aviv. In Israel, Channel 12 reported two people sustained minor injuries in the central city of Holon following Iran's latest ballistic missile attack.

Fighting erupted across the Middle East when the US and Israel launched a coordinated attack on Iran on 28/2. The conflict has extended into its third week, resulting in at least 1,300 deaths in Iran.

Iran retaliated with a series of missile and drone attacks targeting Israel, Jordan, Iraq, and Gulf nations hosting US military bases, causing casualties, infrastructure damage, and disrupting global markets and aviation operations.
