During an audience with British King Charles III on 17/3, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky introduced a software that allows for real-time monitoring of airstrikes targeting Ukraine. He demonstrated the software on a tablet before gifting the device to the King.
"This iPad displays every strike occurring in Ukraine's skies and maritime areas, as well as long-range attacks targeting Russia, including launch points, flight paths, potential targets, and overall response effectiveness. It enables us to monitor the safety level of our citizens, infrastructure, and energy sector in real time," Zelensky explained.

The Ukrainian leader noted that his prime minister, defense minister, and top military commanders are each equipped with a similar device. Zelensky observed that this technology demonstrates how modern security systems can be developed quickly and at a lower cost than traditional defense models.
The software also enables verification of enemy losses, complete with video evidence. According to Zelensky, 90% of Russia's current battlefield losses are caused by Ukrainian drones, and Ukraine's air defense interception rate stands at approximately 87%.
The Ukrainian leader recounted that when Russia launched large-scale attacks on 14/3, Ukrainian forces monitored the entire response process on the iPad. "Instead of endangering human lives, we need to use tools like this iPad."
Russia currently controls approximately 20% of Ukrainian territory and demands that Kyiv relinquish control of the entire Donetsk province in the east as a condition for a ceasefire agreement. Moscow has warned it will seize the remaining parts of Donetsk by force if Kyiv does not concede at the negotiating table.

Ukraine has rejected this demand, declaring it will not sign an agreement without security guarantees from allies, including the United States. Russia has dismissed Ukraine's proposal to deploy European troops to ensure security in Ukraine after a ceasefire agreement is reached.
Dialogue efforts appear stalled, particularly as the United States focuses on the conflict in the Middle East. Ukraine had previously announced plans to host talks in Abu Dhabi, UAE, one of the locations facing Iranian retaliatory strikes.
The four-year long conflict has severely damaged Ukraine, which was already one of Europe's poorest nations before the war began. According to a joint report by the World Bank, European Union, and United Nations, released in coordination with Kyiv on 23/2, post-war reconstruction costs are estimated to reach approximately 588 billion USD over the next decade.
