While details are limited, the two new versions are expected to be fully equipped with features such as a power liftgate, hands-free liftgate access, panoramic sunroof, and 21-inch wheels. Buyers can also expect heated and ventilated leather seats, a heated steering wheel, a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 14-inch infotainment touchscreen. Ambient interior lighting with multiple color options and a premium 12-speaker sound system round out the features.
Beyond the new PHEV powertrain, the 2026 RX is a mid-cycle refresh with four powertrain options. The RX 350 has a turbocharged 2.4-liter engine producing 275 horsepower and 429 Nm of torque.
Two hybrid versions are available: the 350h and 500h. The 350h delivers 246 horsepower and 316 Nm of torque, while the 500h boasts 366 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque.
The plug-in hybrid RX 450h+ combines a 2.5-liter gasoline engine with three electric motors and an 18.1 kWh lithium-ion battery, generating a combined output of 304 horsepower and offering an electric-only range of 61 km.
The 2026 Lexus RX is scheduled to go on sale in the US market in late 2025, with prices ranging from 51,200 to 73,300 USD, a slight increase of 600 USD compared to the previous model.
