Following the debut of the Brouillard in mid-august 2025, Bugatti's Solitaire customization program has unveiled its second creation, the FKP Hommage. This mobile masterpiece honors the original Veyron, launched over 20 years ago, and pays tribute to its creator, engineer and executive Ferdinand Karl Piech.
The FKP Hommage is built on Bugatti's W16 chassis platform, featuring an 8-liter W16 engine. This engine, derived from the Chiron Super Sport, utilizes four turbochargers and has been refined with larger turbochargers, an improved cooling system, and a reinforced gearbox to handle increased torque levels. The engine generates 1,578 horsepower, paired with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and all-wheel drive.

The FKP Hommage's exterior design retains the Veyron's silhouette but with modern refinements. Its 3D horseshoe grille, machined from a single block of aluminum, integrates seamlessly with the surrounding bodywork, departing from the original 2D design. The rear preserves the Veyron's rounded form and characteristic dual round taillights, with an enlarged central exhaust outlet for overall design harmony.
Enlarged front air intakes supply airflow to the powerful engine, while the distinctive air ducts behind the driver's head remain. The narrow headlights reflect Bugatti's current design language. Custom-designed wheels, 20 inches at the front and 21 inches at the rear, are fitted with the latest Michelin tires, enhancing both performance and aesthetic balance.
The red-and-black exterior paint is applied using a multi-layer technique, featuring a silver aluminum base coat beneath a glossy red finish. This combination creates depth and a three-dimensional visual effect, allowing the shade to shift with viewing angles as one moves around the vehicle.
The interior represents a complete transformation compared to other W16-powered vehicles. It features a round, Bauhaus-style steering wheel, reminiscent of the original Veyron. The center console and armrest are machined from a single block of aluminum. A 41 mm Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Tourbillon watch is prominently displayed at the top.
The cabin is enveloped in brown leather and fabric exclusively woven in Paris, marking Bugatti's latest advancement in interior personalization, a feature first introduced in the Tourbillon line.
The Solitaire customization program offers a more exclusive option than the existing Bugatti Sur Mesure program. It produces only two vehicles each year, ensuring that each masterpiece receives meticulous attention and celebrates craftsmanship.
The FKP designation previously appeared on the Lamborghini Sian FKP 37, also in honor of Ferdinand Karl Piech. He was the grandson of German automaker founder Ferdinand Porsche and served as chairman of the Volkswagen group's supervisory board from 2002 to 2015. Piech made significant contributions and had a profound influence on the automotive industry, earning induction into the Automotive Hall of Fame in 2014.
