On a two-lane road in Kerala, a three-wheeled tuk-tuk was stopped with its turn signal on on 30/1. A young girl, who appeared to have just exited the vehicle, immediately ran across the road.
Simultaneously, a bus approached. The bus driver reacted instantly, swerving to avoid the child and braking sharply. Startled, the girl ran back towards the tuk-tuk. Fortunately, no collision occurred.
The bus driver stated that he spoke with the girl's parents, who were in the tuk-tuk, before leaving. Many people commented that the fault in this incident clearly lay with the parents or accompanying adults. Children should not be left unsupervised in potentially dangerous situations.
