A young man riding a motorcycle at high speed while looking at his phone crashed into the back of a Toyota Vios on Nguyen Van Linh Street on 30/6. The impact threw the motorcyclist over the handlebars. The motorcycle became wedged under the car, significantly damaging its rear. Fortunately, there were no injuries.

Using a phone while driving is dangerous. It distracts drivers and prevents them from observing road conditions, posing a risk to themselves and others.

Decree 168/2024 stipulates a fine of 10-14 million VND for motorcyclists who cause accidents while using their phones.
