The Vios Hybrid's exterior remains largely unchanged from the petrol version but incorporates hybrid identification details, notably the signature blue-accented Toyota logo and the "HEV" badge on the rear. The Vios Hybrid retains the large trapezoidal grille, LED headlights, and sculpted side lines.
The GR Sport HEV version is adorned with the characteristic GR Sport accessory package, including a unique grille, front and rear bumpers, and side skirts. 17-inch GR Sport wheels and the "GR" badge appear in several locations. The suspension and brakes are tuned for a sportier driving experience.
The interior of the Vios Hybrid has been redesigned, featuring a new 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support. The digital instrument cluster provides comprehensive vehicle information. The seats are upholstered in a combination of leather and fabric. Automatic climate control and ambient lighting are also included. In addition, the car is equipped with wireless charging.
The highlight of the Vios Hybrid is its hybrid powertrain, which combines a 1.5 petrol engine and an electric motor, generating a total output of 111 horsepower and 141 Nm of torque. The electric motor is powered by a 0.7 kWh lithium-ion battery.
The car uses an e-CVT transmission and has an average fuel consumption of 3.8 liters/100 km. Its top speed is 160 km/h.
The Toyota Safety Sense system includes pre-collision warning and automatic braking, lane departure warning, lane keeping assist, front vehicle departure warning, pedal misapplication control, and blind spot monitoring. Other features include adaptive cruise control (all speeds with Stop&Go function) and a 360-degree camera, along with other standard safety features.
In Thailand, the Toyota Yaris Ativ HEV competes with rivals such as the Honda City and Mazda2, which also offer hybrid versions.
