Inside, the cabin features an attractively coordinated color scheme, utilizing extensive premium leather materials and minimizing hard plastics. The audio system, supplied by Danish brand Jamo, further elevates the in-car experience. Comfort is prioritized, especially for passengers, with the front passenger seat including a calf support cushion, enhancing relaxation on long journeys. Both the driver display and the infotainment screen are sharp, providing clear visuals.

Under the hood, the hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) engine offers stable acceleration, delivering a pure electric vehicle experience at speeds below 40 km/h. This smooth operation makes it well-suited for family use.

Despite its strengths, several areas could see improvement. Dongfeng's passenger car brand recognition remains relatively weak, which could hinder its market penetration. While the Huge offers a spacious five-seat configuration, its large size suggests a demand for additional seating options, such as 5+2 or seven-seat variants. Additionally, while the HEV engine is smooth, its stability at higher speeds could be enhanced. Finally, the modern touch-sensitive hazard warning light button, though contemporary, is less convenient than a physical button for quick access.
