On 7/2 in Me Linh, a family of 4 people on mot motorbike weaved against traffic through multiple cars. The motorbike then cut across the front of a vehicle to cross the road. A driver with a dashcam sounded the horn, but the man operating the motorbike still sped through as a truck approached from the opposite direction. The motorbike had a minor impact with the front of the truck, but all 4 people on the motorbike were safe.
According to traffic laws, motorbikes can only carry hai people, with exceptions for emergencies such as transporting someone for urgent medical care. Children over 6 years old are required to wear helmets. Motorbikes are prohibited from traveling against traffic or weaving through other vehicles, as these actions endanger both the driver and other road users. When crossing a road, drivers must observe carefully and should not emerge from blind spots behind other vehicles, as this is dangerous.
