The Honda CB500 SF is powered by a DOHC, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, producing 71 horsepower and 47 Nm of torque. It integrates several advanced technologies, including: traction control, electronic throttle, E-Clutch electronic clutch, and three riding modes: standard, urban, and sport.
The electronic clutch on the CB500 SF is a notable feature, allowing the bike to start, stop, or shift gears without using the clutch lever. This innovation simplifies riding for new motorcycle enthusiasts and enables experienced riders to achieve smoother, faster shifts.

The 285 million dong price tag of the Honda CB500 SF is significantly higher than the officially sold CB500 Hornet, which is priced at 185 million dong. However, the two bikes target different styles: the CB500 SF is retro-inspired with a 4-cylinder engine, while the CB500 Hornet is sporty with a 2-cylinder engine. In the nearly 300 million dong price range, users also have another nakedbike option: the Yamaha MT-09, priced at 299 million dong, featuring an 890 cc, 3-cylinder engine.
